IBA course on Pathogenic Immune Evasion Strategies!

  • Course description: This course will give a general overview of the different ways of pathogens to evade the host immune system in addition to more focused talks about specific pathogens and their evasion strategies. This will include different bacteria like mycobacteria, N. gonorrhoeae, and S. aureus in addition to viruses and parasites. A tentative program with information about the invited speakers and their talks will be announced soon. We highly recommend taking this course in combination with the NTNU PhD course “Molecular mechanisms of Inflammation” (MOL8009, 7.5 ECTS) which is planned the week before this course (8-12th November).
  •  Travel and accommodation expenses are included for IBA Ph.D. and research track student members.
  • This course can be a more in-depth follow-up to the Ph.D. course “Molecular Mechanisms of Inflammation (MOL8009)” which is scheduled November 8th-12th at NTNU, or others interested in the field.
