Registration and poster abstract submission deadline – 21 September, 2018.

IBA members please apply here.

NDPIA members please follow instructions here.

The number of participants is limited to 40 (20 from IBA and 20 from NDPIA). Priority will be given to applicants in relation to how relevant it is for the applicant to participate in the course based on the topic of the personal research project and their motivation in the application form. The course organizers are also aiming for an even distribution of participants from different research groups and universities.

Applicants will be notified about admittance to the course at the latest by 24 September, 2018. Please do not make any travel arrangements related to this course before receiving confirmation of admittance. If the course is oversubscribed a back-up list will be established in the event of cancellations.

IBA/NDPIA can not issue any ECTS for this course. Participants that attend the entire course will receive a course certificate. Decisions on issuing of ECTS are taken locally by the respective participant’s PhD student examiner.

N.B. Cancellation of participation is free of charge until October 22. However, from October 23 a cancellation fee of SEK 7500 (cost for the full board at Hjortviken) will be applied if the rationale for cancellation is not related to impaired health status of the participant or to the participant’s next of kin. If the course vacancy can be filled from a back-up list, the cancellation fee may be waived.

Cancellation for IBA members is made by sending an e-mail to raimonda.viburiene@ibv.uio.no  with information about the reason for cancelling participation.

The bus transfers to and from the venue will depart from the Gothenburg airport Landvetter 26 November at 11 a.m. and leave the meeting venue for Landvetter at 4.15 p.m. 30 November.
