Lunch meeting – Trondheim

The Local Committee of the National Research School of Infectious Biology and Antibiotic Resistance at NTNU invites all PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows and medical research (“forskerlinje”) students interested in infection biology, antimicrobial agents and antibiotic resistance to a lunch meeting with pizza.

The meeting is open for members and non-members in Trondheim.

Topic: How to build a career after a doctorate

Time: Wednesday, June 17, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Place: BS41, Bevegelsessenteret, St. Olavs hospital, Trondheim and online

The presentation will be held by Christopher Cornthwaite who holds a doctorate in religious studies from the University of Toronto. After completing his studies, he found that there were no “academic jobs” for him. Based on his experience, he has funded  Roostervane  – as a resource for building the career you want after your Ph.D.

* Maximum number of participants 20 due to Corona regulations. The physical meeting is full, but those who wish to attend the video conference  will be able to attend from their own PC.

The meeting is open to members and non-members located in Trondheim and there will be a short presentation of IBA for the attendees.

NB! If you have a place at the physical meeting: we have to follow the regulations at NTNU and St. Olavs hospital regarding infection control (https://innsida.ntnu.no/wiki/-/wiki/English/Infection+control), which means that you cannot come to BS41 if you have respiratory tract symptoms.
